Bonneville Performance Supports VETMotorsports
Bonneville Performance is honored to support the mission of VETMotorsports, to honor and empower disabled combat veterans through active participation in motorsports.
On August 8, 2014 we were pleased to host a team of VETmotorsports volunteers and veterans for the AMA Pro Flat Track Indy Mile race event. The footage in the promotional video below was shot almost entirely in and around our Castrol – Triumph – Bonneville Performance team pit area and the Indy Mile race track at the Indiana State Fairgrounds. You’ll see our team owner Bill Gately, Crew Chief Steve Gately and rider Mikey Martin #91 along with the various speakers and interviewees named in the video.
Bonneville Performance team owner Bill Gately, a Marine himself, is sensitive to the challenges faced by disabled veterans as they re-enter their lives after surviving combat. It is this sensitivity that is reflected in our entire team as we welcome and interact with the disabled veterans who serve in our pit area through the outreach of VETmotorsports. We look forward to an ongoing relationship as we begin the 2015 race season.
We encourage all of our Castrol – Triumph – Bonneville Performance team supporters, fans and followers to seriously consider donating or volunteering time and skills to this worthy non-profit organization.
