For the benefit of its UK readers who may be less familiar with American Flat track racing history, the article goes into depth on the association of Bonneville Performance with AMA Pro Flat Track racing. Bonneville Performance owner Bill Gatley is the man most responsible for bringing Triumph back to flat track racing since its glory days with Gary Nixon and others ending in the 1970’s.

The Bonneville Performance Street Tracker (995cc, 1100cc, 1200cc) is a turnkey, hand-built motorcycle, customized for each customer based upon the same engineering that is used to build the Triumph factory-sponsored flat tracker racers used today. Mikey Martin (#91) is the teams rider in the upcoming 2014 AMA Pro Flat Track racing season which begins at Daytona on March 13, 2014.
